About the Role:

 

We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Test Co-ordinator to support the testing activities for large, multi-vendor integration programmes. In this role, you will work closely with Programme Managers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and the wider delivery team to understand functional and non-functional testing requirements. You will be responsible for co-ordinating test activities, ensuring the successful execution and alignment with project timelines.

As the Project Test Co-ordinator, you will help manage test deliverables and ensure comprehensive test coverage, whilst keeping senior stakeholders informed of progress and quality metrics.
 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Co-ordinate all testing phases, including System Testing, System Integration, User Acceptance
  • Testing (UAT), Regression, and Non-Functional Testing for multi-vendor programmes.
  • Work with Development teams, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and external vendors to ensure testing objectives align with business goals.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining key test artifacts, including test strategies, detailed test plans, and comprehensive test completion reports, ensuring alignment with project objectives and quality standards
  • Develop and communicate the test plan and schedule, ensuring all testing activities are carried out effectively and on time.
  • Support defect triaging, tracking, prioritisation, and resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on testing progress and quality metrics.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks related to testing activities and help mitigate them.
  • Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices across the programme.
  • Monitor test schedules and resources to ensure efficient use and on-time delivery of testing.

 

Skills, Knowledge & Experience   

 

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Expertise in defect handling, triaging, tracking, and risk management.
  • Ability to lead and influence teams and vendors to ensure testing is aligned with project goals.
  • Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, SpecFlow, Azure DevOps, and performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in tracking key testing metrics and aligning them with overall project schedules.
  • Solid understanding of automation testing tools and techniques, and ability to promote automation to reduce reliance on manual testing where possible.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and V-Model.
  • Understanding of different types of testing, including System, Integration, UAT, Regression, and Non-Functional Testing.
  • Familiarity with test management tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of defect management processes and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Understanding of industry regulations (e.g., GDPR).
     

Experience:

  • Strong experience in a Test Co-ordinator / Test Manager or similar role supporting multi-vendor integration programmes.
  • Expertise in managing end-to-end testing lifecycles, from planning to execution and closure
  • Experience working in Agile environments and supporting end-to-end testing processes.
  • Experience in creating and managing test documentation, including  Test Plans and Test Completion reports.
  • Experience with test tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and other testing frameworks.
  • Experience in risk-based testing, defect management, and mitigation planning..
  • Solid background in creating and managing test metrics to drive process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards
