Salary: Circa £58,000
Grade: Band 3
Location: 5 Endeavour Square/Hybrid working*
*Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.
Transport for London (TfL), Systems Performance and Integration (SP&I) team is looking for an Engineering Analyst to help us to shape the future of TfL’s assets and infrastructure across a diverse portfolio of projects and modes of transportation.
Supporting other Engineering Analysts, you will help to build, maintain, and implement the SP&I teams’ engineering analysis tools and capabilities. Working alongside our Discipline Engineers, you will be developing engineering analysis techniques and processes that deliver optimised engineering outcomes for the business. Through the identification of process improvements and innovation you will help to create new value streams across the TfL asset base.
As an initiative-taking and adaptable engineer, you will have experience of applying your Systems Performance and Integration Engineering knowledge and skills across the project lifecycle: feasibility, concept, detailed design, installation, commissioning, and operations. You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and hold domain knowledge that is relevant to TfL transportation modes. You will have the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation, present ideas succinctly to both engineers and non-engineering stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience in the following are desirable for this role:

- Data Management: SQL, Oracle, MS Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure
- Data Processing: PowerApps, Power Query, Power Automate/Flows, Python
- Data Reporting: PowerBi, Python
