Overview of project/role

 

To provide effective and professional revenue and marketing support to the Business Partner and wider team to enable the effective management of their revenue and marketing strategy in line with their business objectives.

 

The work is varied in its nature and requires the job holder to be flexible in their approach.  They must be able to manage a number of different demands, be able to prioritise their workload and be of a marketing and sales mindset.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to provide data on project training delivery, work on demand scheduling of Track Safety interventions collaboratively with BPs and bring in the maximum revenue amount possible.
  • Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing to marketing research, marketing campaigns, sales information and recommendations to the yearly strategic plan as directed by the BP.
  • Build and sustain rapport with key stakeholders by setting up regular periodic meetings and being a focal point for stakeholder engagement to keep stakeholders informed of any new interventions and ensure interventions are cost-effective and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly and periodic revenue and new customer reports for the SBPs, BPs, wider training team and finance team in a timely manner to understand periodic revenue generation and any targets not achieved and update the database.
  • Organise and attend meetings / events where appropriate, including facilitating accommodation requests, coordinating audio visual requirements, greeting external attendees, ensuring all attendees are clear on the agenda along with marketing of our track safety catalogue
  • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, and organising events for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce clear, good quality business documents for internal and external stakeholders to help with management decisions on both revenue and marketing strategies and targets.

  • Knowledge of both Microsoft office and TFL systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook Essential
  • Knowledge of SAP and CourseSight (booking system for external customers where reports can also be generated) Desirable

 

Experience

  • Good written English with proven experience of analysing data and putting this into reports Essential
