The Talent Acquisition Team require an Executive Researcher/Recruiter to join the team. You will support and drive hiring of the most inclusive and diverse leaders of TfL. Working closely with experienced Senior Executive Recruiters you will help identify and attract the best talent for a wide range of pivotal roles right across London.
You’ll join an established and multi award-winning team to help drive transformation by bringing your innovative and curious mind-set, expertise and cutting-edge approaches to the table and your ability to create a ‘uniquely TfL’ recruitment and on-boarding experience for senior level talent. Your mission will be to attract top talent for TfL using your insights through internal and global talent mapping exercises.
This will include working closely with strategic workforce planning, talent management and executive leadership to gain an understanding of the business unit and TfL’s long-term strategy, identifying critical roles and begin building end to end executive talent acquisition strategies to find top talent. You will contribute to the market mapping and talent intelligence process for senior leadership levels across London, delivering successful recruitment activity to ensure TfL has the right talent, with the right skills, values, and behaviours, in an inclusive organisation, representative of London, where all talents can thrive, delivering our business plan.
You will bring your bold, creative, and strong talent identification and market intelligence perspective of the market to senior hiring leaders, help build and transform future thinking of talent, bringing to life our diversity and inclusion ambitions using our core, close and creative techniques and transferable skills and industries.
Through strong planning and persistent networking efforts you’ll be recognised as the talent expert establishing credibility in knowing where talent sits, which employers and industry and where they sit though pre-existing relationships. Your talent expertise will also include internal top talented employees and where their potential career might take them in future at TfL.
You’ll directly wield candidate pipelines internal and external to provide a comprehensive view of talent using creative efforts and positioning TfL as a career destination for each and every senior role.
You’ll be an expert problem solver and creative thinker.
The Talent team is made up of Organisational Development (Talent Management), Early Careers Recruitment and Development, Future Skills, GLA Collaboration as well as Talent Acquisition and Executive hiring. Each area plays a unique and critical role in defining a core arm of the strategy that enables TfL to attract, retain and develop the right levels of talent across a very large matrix organisation.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience of providing end to end research to experienced executive recruiters (essential)
- Experience recruiting across complex business operations within a large matrix organisation across all disciplines
- Proven success of executive level end to end recruitment processes and research techniques (essential)
- A strong research background, sourcing, market mapping and or talent profiling expertise and headhunting (essential)
- Contribution of search strategies that are ambitious and future focused (essential)
- Closely monitor specific markets using research techniques (essential)
- Strong Excel experience
- Understanding of external developments and best practice in talent and resourcing
- Must be comfortable presenting
- Experience using Success Factor and or/Taleo or other ATS (essential)
- Project management experience (essential)
