Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.

 

Job Purpose: 

The Early Careers team sits within our Talent function in the Chief People Officer area.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Early Careers recruitment delivery team in delivering our annual intake of graduates, apprentices and interns (circa 300 per year). 

 

You’ll coordinate activity amongst the team- whether that’s engaging with candidates for our roles at events, assessment centres or supporting them during the onboarding process; or supporting team members and wider business colleagues in delivering our recruitment activity and data.

 

We’re looking for individuals with a passion for supporting those into our graduate, apprentice and intern opportunities who can pay attention to detail and want to improve processes involved in our annual cycle.

 

This role also includes responsibility for communications with our diverse internal and external stakeholders through mailbox management and co-ordinating activities to high standard ensuring a positive experience for all involved.

 

Important information

Attending and supporting assessment centres and events is a significant element of this role. Assessment centres take place between November and June, currently at Endeavour Square but this may vary. Flexibility is crucial to the success of this role and  the Team Coordinator is expected to attend assessment centres  (up to 3 times a week during peak periods) from 8am start- 4pm.  Events to support our attraction require travel throughout London including school assemblies and university campus events which may take place in the evening.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Supporting Delivery Advisors and Managers with end-to-end delivery of Early Careers recruitment  
  • Administration support of large-scale events or activities such as corporate inductions, multiple careers events and recruitment assessment centres
  • Coordinate candidate onboarding.
  • Management of mailboxes for participants on programmes, enquiries about our wider TfL programmes
  • Support in the management of databases and executing compliance of general data protection regulation (GDPR)
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service ensuring all candidates feel welcomed and supported in every interaction
  • Generate payment and purchase orders on behalf of TfL to suppliers
  • Processing programme participant and third-party suppliers with equipment / building access  / digital user account access
  • Support the implementation of process improvements identified in delivery of cyclical programmes
  • Manage logistics of Early Careers delivery spaces, refreshments, resources and storage
  • Supporting wider Early Careers and Talent teams for large scale events and initiatives
