Overview of project/role 

The Share Point team in Transport for London is responsible for Administrating Share Point Online, developing and supporting Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) solutions, OneDrive and Project Online. The team comprises of highly technical members who works closely as a team and individually. Presently, the team develop solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate using SharePoint list and database as data source.

As a senior application engineer you will primarily be responsible resolving Incidents and fulfilling Work Orders, Project works and bug fixes. The team works closely, share knowledge, and collaborate to deliver. The role requires an excellent team working skills and taking ownership of issues until resolution.

Key Accountabilities  

The role is focused on technical administration of SharePoint On-Line and development of solutions using Power Platform tools. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in SharePoint Administration, development using Power Platform tools and PowerShell scripting. The role provides 2nd and 3rd line support including dealing with Business/Projects and Third-Party suppliers. Monitoring Microsoft 365 Admin Centre for alerts and taking recommended actions, resolving Incidents and fulfilment of work orders are part of the role purpose. In addition, your will be supporting the team manager as a senior member of the team:

• Line managing other members of the team as required.
• Managing the delivery of support and development work
• Development of demand and forecasting of work within the team
• Maintain and improve the recharge of project work to agreed team targets.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience of SharePoint Online Administration – Essential
• Proven Experience developing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate - Essential
• Good communicator and excellent team player – Essential
• Knowledge of Sharegate – Essential
• Experience in supporting Dynamic CRM- Desirable
• Good level of knowledge in Azure portal and MS licensing – Desirable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills at a business and technical level.
• Highly skilled at solving and communicating complex problems
• Communicates clearly and is skilled at adapting their communication style to meet the needs of the audience.
• Relevant Business Application technical support skills
